No poison oak stems do not have thorns on them. Poison oak grows
as a shrub or a climbing vine. Poison oak leaves are made up
of three leaflets with scalloped edges resembling the leaves of a
true oak and can change colors throughout the season. Poison oak
can produce greenish-white or tan berries.
