What the Goat?!

Okay first off I have to admit, this blog post has nothing to do with any of our products. However, we here at Tec Labs, the makers of Tecnu and Tecnu Extreme (see how I did that?), love to be active! But we are in Oregon, and it is winter. We literally just had a huge ice and snow storm followed by huge downpours. It makes getting outside for our favorite activities next to impossible. This is nothing new to us Oregonians, but there is a moment where it can get a bit depressing. You know what is not depressing?...BABY GOATS! Goat Yoga

So there is a good chance that you may have already seen it, but do you know about goat yoga?!?! Yes, this is really a thing. People really get to bridge with Billie's!  On this farm, you practice outside while a group of very well-loved goats roam around you. They may lie down next to you, they may nibble on your mat, or they might jump on your back for a fun ride. I'm sorry, but my own dreams could not create an idea so magical. I have now made it my personal destiny to visit this farm and Vinyasa with these goats. I haven't even gotten to the best part! The best part is, it is local! Yes, this new phenomenon is in our small little town in the middle of the Willamette Valley.

Don't worry I have already pitched this to be an activity at our next team-building event. I don't know what the rest of my coworkers would think about this, but a dream is a dream, and they cannot take that away from me. Unfortunately, they have over a 600-person waiting list; 601 if they count mine that was made today. So, would you try it? Would you downward dog with some farm friends?

One time I did what was called Cowboy yoga. It was yoga while riding a horse. It was crazy hard to do but an incredible workout.

The other great thing about goats is that they eat poison oak and ivy and don't have any negative effects from it. Now, that's something to celebrate! Great post!

I would definitely be down for warrior facing-sun and baby goats. Sounds like a wonderful way to commute with nature and put a smile on your face. Of course, I am in Texas and there is nothing here like that..hmmm.
