At least that's what Anderson says. OK, let me catch you up.
While home on maternity leave, I was subjected to (i.e. enjoyed a
little too much) daytime television. Give me a break! It was my
only form of "human interaction" throughout the day. Believe it or
not, infants don't really have a lot to say when they aren't
screaming at the top of their lungs to be fed, changed, put down
for a nap, etc. On my (long) list of shows to watch each day was
Live With Kelly. One day, her frequent guest co-host, Anderson
Cooper was on, and wouldn't you know, poison ivy was a hot topic
(literally)! As you can imagine, being an employee of the makers of
Tecnu®, my interest
was immediately piqued!
There they were, bantering back and forth about Anderson's
recent vacation, when he asks Kelly and the audience if they've
poison ivy rash. His question was met with many "ooo's" and
"ahhh's" which is daytime-television-audience-speak for, "yes!"
That's right, I watched enough T.V. to break down the nuances of
the audience's inaudible reactions. Sad, I know. Moooving on…
It was then that Anderson began to explain "the most amazing
feeling ever." Huh? "Poison ivy" and "the most amazing feeling
ever" are two phrases that I have never heard used in conjunction.
He tells Kelly and the audience that, if they ever get a poison ivy
rash, the most amazing feeling ever is to run "it" under hot water
(cue hilarity and innuendos galore!). However, much as I adore him,
I have to disagree with him on this matter! When it comes to poison
ivy rash, the MOST AMAZING FEELING EVER, is using Tecnu Extreme®
Poison Ivy & Oak Scrub! Our scrub removes any remaining
urushiol (rash-causing oil) from the skin, stops the oil from
spreading, and gently exfoliates! Not to mention, some people have
been known to get a little too "happy" with the hot water and
accidentally scald themselves. A poison ivy rash is bad enough
without scalding already sensitive skin, am I right?!
Anderson, if you're reading this, give me a call! We've got a
tube of Tecnu Extreme waiting for you!
