Question
My son has been using Tecnu original for a case of poison ivy, and oak I believe. We just read (2 days late) that the caution warning states that one should not use this product within 3 days of using hydrocortisone. My son has been using Corticool for 3 days now -was using it both before we tried the Tecnu and continued to use it afterward. So,I am wondering what the caution is for, why the two products can not be used together. Do we need to do something about this???

The reason we have that warning on the Tecnu label is because
hydrocortisone can thin your skin and Tecnu is a strong detergent.
Some people, but not always, can have a reaction to the detergent
after they have been using hydrocortisone. If you have a reaction,
stop using both products immediately and consult a medical
professional.
